River von Ringive is an eye-catching 1-2 year old German Shepherd.  This handsome, coated fellow is quite the stunner. Walking with River is like strolling on the catwalk- all eyes will be on both you, as he has great leash manners and prefers to stay close, especially in new situations.   Around other dogs, River can be a picky fellow.  He seems to curate his dog friends very carefully and will let others know if they aren’t his ‘type.'  Still, River will settle around dogs who heed his warning and are rather easy-going.  River is looking for a home with a confident and experienced owner who won’t let him take charge or call dibs.  He’ll need boundaries set from the start and positivity-based training to show him that the best things come when you share.  River has already made the most of his Shepherd looks and is ready to follow someone who is ready to take his Shepherd smarts to the next level.
